ARIADNA ILF6
PHASE AND FEEDER IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
The Ariadna ILF6 has been designed to accurately identify to which phase and feeder of a MV/LV transformer substation is each LV network point connected to.
The Ariadna ILF6 consists of two separate units:
- Transmitter. It is connected to the LV output of the MV/LV transformer.
- Receiver. It is carried along the LV network points whose connectivity (phase and feeder they are connected to) is wanted to determine.
FEATURES
- Works without deenergizing the mains line.
- Three phases and up to 6 feeders can be identified in very few seconds.
- Proved efficiency in lines up to 1 Km.
- Both devices communicate with each other by means of coded messages through the distribution networks, avoiding the radio coverage problems of other systems.
- Can be easily used by a single operator. The handling has been simplified to the maximum so that a single person, without any additional formation, may achieve an efficiency of 80 service connections a day.
- The use of iCPS patent pending technology ensures a correct LV phase and correct LV feeder identification in the worst network noise conditions.
USES
- LV cable identification in GIS projects.
- Survey projects for LV feeder customer connectivity.
- Network maintenance and LV network planning.
- Mapping for fault location.
- Record verification and billing purposes.
- Live Cable identification prior to maintenance.
- Trench cable identification.
- Load balance and redistribution.
- Cable replacement.
- PLC internet installation.
- PLC based Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) installation.
